Form
Last week we had two models come in for us to draw. At first I was pretty skeptical because I havent done much figure drawing but once I got the hang of it, it was pretty fun. I started using bright colors/ pastels to compliment the charcoal.

Andy Warhol
While working on the Shoe project I was inspired by Andy Warhol's painting of Marilyn Monroe. I loved the way he changed and manipulated the colors making it very modern, it also really focused on repetition and pattern. My favorite thing about photography is how you can change the photos and mess with all the colors.

Laura Barbosa
"My Artwork does not describe any one particular style, but rather my general attitude towards certain subjects or topics of our world. My Paintings convey my individuality, spontaneous thoughts and ideas. It is like a journey into the deepest corner of my mind. Others have described it as “An embarrassment of riches in a colorful world of subconscious thinking"

Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego
I went to San Diego to look at colleges and while I was down there I went to MCASD. I loved all the sculptures and its what got me interested in 3-D for my art portfolio but I still think I'm only going to do 2-D. This was my favorite piece
