  5. elaine! i love these. all these photos are very textural....what if you printed them out and then painted/collaged/tissue-papered on top of them?

  7. I don't mean to be critical, but I feel like these could have been done a little better. And don't get me wrong; these are great pictures. But I feel like something in them is lacking. The textures/patterns are kind of confusing; they're like splotches of color all over the place. I get that that's what the rocks there look like, but it's... hmm... I don't know how to describe it. It feels cluttery, even though there's only a leaf, a rock, and water in the picture.

That said, my favorite picture of this group would be the last one. It's REALLY cool! It's composition is great, and I love the way the reflection of the sky and the shadows above make the water look very bold and dynamic. The colors, too, are awesome!

  8. I like the action going on in the pictures,
the last one is my favourite, it almost looks like a piece of paper with layers of decorative and textured paper on top :)

  9. the stiffness of the leaves and the flowy texture of the water creates a great sensational feast.
The water drops are awesome, especially showing the movement of the water.
These photos have been done by many already, therefore it looks kind of dull.
Maybe you could add reflections to the water, so it gives a better punch at the audience rather than just water movements and leaves.
You should check out Andy Goldsworthy, totally.
